The Rush line of JBAY.ZONE products is designed to produce boards with an attractive and sleek design, able to meet the needs of the most competitive users. Rush boards are ideal for providing excellent performance in terms of speed and agility, however they can also replace Touring boards for more or less extended excursions.

The Racing Board RUSH CJ2 has been designed and manufactured by JBAY.ZONE specifically for sporty spirits who want a board that is lean and fast on the water and that can demonstrate the right balance between performance and stability. JBAY.ZONE racing boards can also be used effectively as touring boards for longer or shorter tours.

To maintain great speed and smoothness on the water, the shape of the RUSH CJ2 board is long and narrow to offer little resistance to water, thus improving the performance of this Racing SUP.

STABILITY

While it is a performance-seeking Stand up Paddle, the RUSH CJ2 provides enough stability to feel safe and space to store items in the front as you hurtle across the water.

SCOPE

The 2LF Fusion Drop-Stitch technology used for the SUP RUSH CJ2 by JBAY.ZONE allows the Racing Board to easily carry up to 170 kg.

TECHNOLOGY

The technology used for the SUP RUSH CJ2 is called 2LF Fusion Drop-Stitch Technology, which consists of an air chamber formed by two layers of fabric, coupled with a first layer of laminated PVC, connected together by thousands of filaments. This type of construction allows the SUP, once inflated to the ideal pressure of 18PSI, to become rigid and durable. A second layer of laminated PVC is thermally welded, without the use of glue, to the first, forming a double layer material or “Double Layer” to significantly increase the strength, stiffness and durability of the Stand Up Paddle. The 2LF Fusion technology saves glue weight resulting in boards that are up to 25% lighter than standard Dual Layer Paddleboards and, in no small part, less environmentally impactful.

LIGHTNESS

Although it is a very long SUP and made of PVC Double Layer Laminate the Racing Board RUSH CJ2 is light, with a weight of only 9.9 kg.

PERFORMANCE

Developed for speed, efficiency, and control, the RUSH CJ2 Racing Sup Board was built by prioritizing quality and performance. The hydrodynamic shape and the single fin of US System Box type guarantee the minimum friction with the water without sacrificing too much space for the driver, which guarantees good stability and control on board the Paddleboard.

RESISTANCE

The process of thermal fusion between the two layers of PVC that make up the main part of the Deck of the RUSH CJ2 is done without the aid of glue using 2LF Fusion technology. This provides a significant increase in the strength, durability and stiffness of the material.

LENGTH 380cm – 12’6”

A very long and slender deck, with a sharp nose, as in the case of the RUSH CJ2 Racing SUP Board, together with the single fin of the US Box System type that opposes a minimum of friction with the water, contribute to a decisive increase in performance and smoothness compared to an All Around board or a Touring type Stand up Paddle.

WIDTH 71cm – 28”

The width of the SUP RUSH CJ2 is the right compromise between performance and stability. Such a value offers a much higher top speed than boards with wider decks but the space for the user is still adequate to offer some stability and security even if it requires more skill to master the control. The narrower Deck reduces friction with the water and increases the hydrodynamics of the Stand up paddle.

15cm – 6”

The 15cm thickness is a premium value, not common to all inflatable SUPs. The weight resistance is significantly higher, which means even greater stability for the user in a variety of operating conditions.

High-quality accessories such as the Bravo® double-action pump and GoPRO®HERO mount are included with the RUSH CJ2 board to equip the Stand up Paddle with a complete and reliable kit of options.

2LF FUSION DOUBLE LAYER DROP STITCH TECHNOLOGY

For SUP JBAY.ZONE RUSH CJ2, is used material formed by two overlapping layers of high strength PVC laminate, thermo-welded together, using the 2LF Fusion technology, which allows to obtain an inflatable board with performances comparable to those of a rigid SUP, with an excellent weight support. The heat-sealing process, without the use of glue between the two layers of material, ensures that the total weight of the board is reduced by up to 25% compared to a standard Double-Layer Stand up Paddle, significantly increasing its resistance, rigidity and durability. The thermowelding process is also more environmentally sustainable, eliminating chemical residues and the use of solvents that would normally be used with glue.

For the internal structure was used the Drop-Stitch technology which, thanks to thousands of filaments of fabric welded to the ends of the PVC Laminate, enables the Stand Up Paddle RUSH CJ2, once reached the ideal pressure of 18PSI, to become rigid and strong, supporting the weight of the rider to perfection.

The Rail is reinforced with an extra layer of laminated PVC for added safety and impact resistance.

An EVA Foam cover on the middle part of the Deck of the SUP RUSH CJ2 provides a more stable support to the rider in different conditions of use. The Pad rises up near the tail of the stand up paddle board creating a Kickpad, useful to better control the SUP to make pivots or quick turns.

The central fin with Us Box system, is ideal for the sup of the Racing line, and allows for less friction with the water and favors the achievement of higher speeds.

The valve is a High Pressure type with bayonet coupling to safely connect the Bravo® Double Action Pump supplied with the SUP, optimizing air blowing operations and avoiding the risk of unexpected pressure loss. On the tail of the SUP RUSH CJ2 there are two D-rings for the connection of accessories such as the safety leash.
